Week 6: Windows

The windows arrive unglazed and the guys make short work of installing the frames and flashings and then move on to fitting the cavity system. Once the window frames are in we can get them glazed . One of the other benefits of this system is that once the glazing is complete we can start on the interior of the house.

One of our core values is to exceed the building code to produce a more durable better quality home in this instance we use thermally broken windows with low double glazed units. This system provides a greater r value than standard units and cuts down on condensation on the inside of the windows.
