The ridge beam is a crucial part of the structure and bears the roof. Rafters will be fixed along the ridge-line. This beam makes the apex of the roof.
We use a mixture of 240mm x 90xx SG8 and CHH 300 x 90 HY joists. The product is versatile, stronger and much lighter than equivalent with equal strength capacity.
